About Roberts Foam

Roberts Foam is a well established company with over 30 years experience in the upholstery trade.  We have built a reputation on reliability and our considerable experience and knowledge of soft furnishing.  Our workshop handles your individual requirements, from the smallest order through to major projects.  We operate a national service from our Thatcham base using a reliable parcel delivery company and a local more personal service in the Berkshire, Oxfordshire and North Hampshire area.

The company was built on an upholstery background in both traditional and modern furnishings.  Our Cushion Recovering service provides a high standard of new cushion covers using our skilled staff.  We can use either fabric that you supply, or we can provide you with samples so that you can choose from our extensive collection.  Where a customer wishes to refill their existing cushion covers our Cushion Filling service uses the highest quality modern foams and fibre inserts, or alternatively traditional feather and down.  Using our New Cushion service you may purchase complete new cushions to the your specification.  Our bespoke service aims to give the best standard of customer care.

As well as our range of upholstery services we specialise in the supply of foam for many uses outside the upholstery business.  For example, foam yoga blocks, kneelers, play mats and pond linings.  With our Foam Supply service we like to think that we can help with any use for foam.

What We Do

We aim to provide the highest level of service and the key to this is an accurate and complete understanding of the customers needs.  The various methods of specifying requirements are detailed in the individual service descriptions: Foam Supply, New Cushions, Cushion Filling and Cushion Recovering.

Customers may supply us with existing cushions to replace, recover or refill.  Also, we work to customer measurements, or a template, or accurately dimensioned drawings.  If you are in our local area why not visit our Thatcham Berkshire workshop - please telephone first to confirm our opening hours.  In particular, we use the latter more personal approach where customers wish us to supply fabric from our collection.

We accept enquiries by email, post and telephone, and will then quote a price.  Orders placed will be fulfilled upon our receipt of payment by cheque.  Allow 5 to 10 working days for delivery.

Finding our workshop is easy and it is conveniently placed for parking.

We are located in the centre of Thatcham - on the entrance road to the Coop car park, just behind the Sue Ryder shop.

Delivery

We use the major national parcel delivery services.  By agreement we may use our own transport to deliver locally in the Berkshire, Oxfordshire and North Hampshire area.

Deliveries must be signed for.

Terms & Conditions

Orders placed will be fulfilled upon our receipt of payment by cheque.

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of measurements they supply.

The customer is responsible for any damage or loss incurred during transport of their cushions, covers, etc. to Roberts Foam.
